To learn more about Mission Technologies, click here for a short video: https://vimeo.com/732533072   Who We AreHII-Mission Technologies Division is seeking an Information Technology Lead to join our team at Beale AFB, California.Information Technology Lead (IT Lead) shall provide analytical, advisory, technical expertise and analysis to mission activities. The IT Lead is primarily responsible for installation, maintenance, upgrades, and security compliance of information technology as well as to ensure up to 24/7/365 uninterrupted operations in support of global missions. Duties include Setting up Program Work Environments (PWEs), integrating new capabilities into existing environments, refreshing hardware and software, troubleshooting complex problems, and ensuring up to 24/7/365 continuity of information technology in support of on-going global operations. The IT Lead will also participate in leading critical Mission/Focus Area projects, fostering innovation and best practices, technical mentoring of Program Execution technical staff, and providing emergency technical support. The Technical Lead will need to communicate effectively and influence those within and outside the organization and will collaborate with leadership to drive understanding, adoption, and consistency in the utilization of best practices, automation, and technology. Aside from regular engagement in support of new and existing Program Work Environments (PWEs), the Technical Lead will work with leadership on the design, development, and integration of IT solutions with the mission’s deliverable products.

Requirements

  • 10 years of relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; 8 years relevant experience with master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience
  • CompTIA Security + or higher certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M
  • Experience in multi-disciplined Project Leadership, Management, or Project management in an IT domain
  • Active TS/SCI
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid US Passport

Nice To Haves

  • Experience developing requirements for detailed system design in infrastructure technologies including server operating systems, server hardware, computer systems, enterprise-class storage, physical and virtual network components
  • Thorough understanding and experience designing and supporting Protection Level 2 and beyond Information Systems with specific focus on required security controls and shared infrastructure capabilities
  • Strong understanding of working in a Windows/UNIX hybrid environment
  • Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, and/or DB2 database preferred

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, support, update, troubleshoot and create Active Directory managed accounts on multiple enclaves
  • Participate in teaching and training members of work team and maintain proper documentation of any additional system changes, corrections, or general standard operating procedures
  • Assist in technology stack, data analytics, continuous integration, process improvements/automation, and agile process efforts
  • Oversee basic configuration management and initial system diagnostics on desktop computers, laptops, operating systems, thin clients, and productivity software
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain squadron and MPC information technologies
