About The Position

Supports DHA IT operations by developing, maintaining, and governing knowledge management (KM) artifacts that enable consistent service delivery, faster incident resolution, and audit-ready documentation. This role ensures technical knowledge is accurate, accessible, and aligned to operational processes across DDSB support teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a closely related discipline or equivalent practical experience (as permitted by the contract).
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience supporting enterprise IT environments, with demonstrated work aligned to Information Technology.
  • At least one: Security+, or GSEC.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Public Trust suitability and all required system access (e.g., CAC-enabled accounts) to perform duties.
  • This position is aligned to applicable DoD Manual 8140.03 work role 431 (NIST: OM-KM-001); contractor personnel must meet DoD 8570.01-M baseline certification requirements and transition to DoD Manual 8140.03 work role requirements, including required training, knowledge, skills, abilities, and tasks, within Government-directed timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Help maintaining and editing the SharePoint Portal used to support DHA IT operations.
  • Maintain working relationships across ESA-BAD, PEO, and IOD organizations to support knowledge management activities and documentation needs.
  • Create and maintain document templates for use by program and project managers, solution architects, and system engineers.
  • Actively participate in knowledge management process development and continuous improvement initiatives and maintain internal KM team frameworks and procedures.
  • Create, update, and maintain technical, procedural, and agreement documentation, including SOPs, MFRs, EXSUMs, OLAs, MOAs, MOUs, governance documents, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide technical editing and writing support to ensure documents are accurate, well-formatted, and compliant with approved templates and standards.
  • Apply DoD guidance to establish standardized templates and style guides and use word processing, desktop publishing tools to produce technical documentation and process flow diagrams.
  • Communicate effectively with technical staff, project managers, leadership, and customers to gather information and translate technical content into clear, cohesive documentation.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts and leadership to develop and validate required technical documentation.
  • Establish and maintain a Knowledge Management Framework governing document artifacts, version control, and lifecycle management.
  • Maintain a centralized Service Knowledge Management System repository housing foundational documents, templates, system plans, configuration items, and SOPs.
  • Use approved notification vehicles, such as the DHA J6 Report of the Day, to promote situational awareness and reduce service disruptions related to change activities.
  • Develop and maintain a data management plan defining data types, publication processes, dissemination methods, and backup and recovery controls.
