Your Role at Delta Faucet The Information Technology (IT) Intern will support Smart Business Agentic-AI development towards DFC Product and IT use cases. This internship offers in depth learning of model driven AI fundamentals, hands‑on experience with advanced AI platforms, and real‑world application of emerging technologies. Throughout the internship, you’ll collaborate with IT team members, product function stakeholders, and cross‑functional partners to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for an AI‑driven solution. You’ll help research, design, prototype, and train Smart Agent-AI models that enhances decision‑making and operational efficiency within the DFC enterprise. Working closely with IT architects and Advanced Analytics Center of Excellence teams, you’ll gain exposure to AI strategy, product development processes, and enterprise‑level digital transformation initiatives. Assignments are project‑based, giving you ownership of meaningful deliverables and visibility into how AI can accelerate business outcomes. Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Ideally entering junior or senior year with a minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Interest in AI, machine learning, data driven modeling and emerging technologies
  • Business savvy and technological acumen
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn new tools and approaches

Responsibilities

  • Learn foundational AI concepts and gain hands‑on experience with modern AI tools and platforms
  • Support the design, prototyping, and development of a Smart Business Agent-AI for a DFC use case
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications for AI‑enabled solutions
  • Assist with data exploration, workflow mapping, and identifying opportunities for automation
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to validate use cases and refine solution functionality
  • Participate in project meetings, demos, and iterative development cycles
  • Document processes, findings, and recommendations for both technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Present progress and outcomes to the senior and executive leadership at DFC
