SSE is adding a Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to represent SSE to Department of Defense (DoD) contractors and subcontractors nationwide. This ISSO opportunity is a full-time ONSITE opportunity based at our Corporate Headquarters in St. Louis, MO. The Information Systems Security Officer will report directly to Enterprise ISSM and work on various fronts. These will be technical in nature, ranging from classified area administration and continuous monitoring to Tier 3 technical expertise in all internal SSE network and server infrastructure. There will be a dotted line in the reporting structure to the CISO and CTO for all technical inquiries and directions.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of NIST and RMF
  • Advanced experience with the following technologies: Active Directory Design and Administration including Group Policy Management, Site Design, Trusts, Replication; Microsoft Hyper-V; Skype for Business Server Administration; Failover Clustering; Microsoft Exchange Server 2016+ Database Availability Group Administration; iSCSI; Enterprise SAN Administration - HPE preferred; Cisco Meraki Advanced Administration ( MX, MR, and MS platforms), Administration of Cisco Meraki Site-to-Site VPN, ACLs, Client VPN, Group Policies, VLANs; Windows Server 2016+ Administration
  • Detail oriented with ability to be nimble with daily responsibilities
  • Excellent time management
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including activity documentation are a must.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in technical competencies listed above.
  • Experience working with classified systems is required.
  • Secret Security Clearance Required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Security desired.

Responsibilities

  • Primary resource for administration of all classified environments from a network and server administration perspective as well as performing continuous monitoring within those systems.
  • Work hand in hand with Enterprise ISSM t o implement improvements to classified systems, whether they are technical or administrative.
  • Uses their advanced technical knowledge to administer and maintain SSE's internal network and server infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, wireless access points, Storage Area Networks (SANs), and servers.
