Belay Technologies is seeking an Information Systems Security Engineer (Level 2/3) to join our intel team. The Information Systems Security Engineer ﴾ISSE﴿ Skill Level 3 will join a team of 5+ similar individuals who ensure security compliance with customer requirements.

Requirements

TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
Fifteen (15) years’ experience as an ISSO on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 3 is required
A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline may be substituted for two ﴾2﴿ years of experience, reducing the requirement to eighteen ﴾18﴿ years of experience
Four ﴾4﴿ years of additional ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
DoD 8570 compliance with IASAE Level 3 is required. ISSEP and CISSP are both required
Experience is to include at least three (3) of the following areas: Knowledge of current security tools hardware/software security implementation communication protocols encryption techniques/tools

Responsibilities

Participate as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments
Participate as a security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation and/or integration of IA architectures, systems, or system components
Participate as the primary security engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation, evaluation, and/or integration of secure networking, computing, and enclave environments
Scan devices for security vulnerabilities, and arrange remediation for all technical ﴾i.e. IAVA updates, disable non‐compliant ports, ciphers, etc.﴿ Work with SEAR, BISCOTTI, and other customer tools
Participate in process for gaining ATO, completing technical readiness reviews and other milestones
Work closely with system administrators for remediation Ed
