About The Position

The Information Security Software Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's information security systems, programs and security as code. They will work closely with architects, developers and business units to ensure the protection of sensitive data and minimize the risk of cyber-attacks. Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure APIs Integrations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API requirements and ensure seamless integration. Maintain and enhance existing APIs to improve performance and functionality. Build workflows and pipelines. Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues in a timely manner. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in API development.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Equivalent experience and/or alternative qualifications will be considered.
At least 5 years of coding experience in both Python and Java.
Proven experience in API development using languages such as Python, Java, Power Query, and Power Shell.
Strong understanding of API design principles.
Experience with API testing and documentation tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT).
Develop and implement custom solutions.
