About The Position

Electric Boat is seeking an experienced security professional to join our Security Technology & Protections Team. In this hands-on role, you will ensure physical security compliance, oversee advanced electronic security systems, and protect our facilities across multiple locations.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Associates Degree (or above) -OR- 7+ years of corporate security systems technology experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance from the DoD (department of defense)
Ability to travel frequently to various Electric Boat Facilities

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Physical Security practices
Experience conducting inspections or audits and presenting the results
Architectural drawing review experience
Experience administering security education and awareness training
OSHA 30 for Shipyard Workers
Certification in Softwarehouse C-Cure 9000, Milestone X-Protect VMS Platforms, Motorola Avtec SC-220, Barco Smart Walls

Responsibilities

Maintain compliance with Government and company physical security regulations.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and recommend countermeasures.
Advise on, install, and maintain integrated electronic security systems.
Identify and resolve security system deficiencies or malfunctions.
Develop SOPs, Emergency Action Plans, and coordinate with vendors.
Represent Electric Boat during security audits and inspections.
Project management skills
Architectural drawing review experience
Working Knowledge of 009.72 & NISPOM Rule
OSHA 30 certification
Experience with access control systems and CCTV equipment
Ability to travel frequently to various Electric Boat Facilitie
Familiarity with the Electric Boat shipyard, Quonset Point and Offsite Facilities
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work in team environment with minimal oversight
Working Knowledge of Standard Item 009.72 & NISPOM
