About The Position

As the Information Security Officer at Bank Iowa, you will provide ownership of cybersecurity oversight, development, and threat mitigation to all Bank Iowa technology systems. The role ensures information systems follow current security frameworks, regulations, and governing policies. You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in implementing and managing the entire information security lifecycle including, but not limited to, policies, standards, access control, security monitoring and auditing, and security compliance. Defend systems against unauthorized access, modification and/or destruction. Implement, manage, and enforce information security directives as mandated by GLBA and other applicable regulations. Ensure the ongoing integration of information security with business strategies and requirements. Identify information security awareness and training initiatives to educate workforce about information risks, coordinating with the HR department for dissemination. Perform or manage ongoing information risk assessments and audits to ensure that information systems are adequately protected and meet GLBA certification requirements.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in a computer related field or equivalent years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience in general Information Technology with an emphasis on cybersecurity.
