About The Position

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineering Intern will support the automation of identity and access controls across the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using the enterprise identity platform. This position provides practical experience in identity‑centric security, infrastructure‑as‑code, and cross‑functional collaboration within a large‑scale, enterprise technology environment, while reinforcing the role of IAM as a foundational control within application and platform security.

Requirements

  • Major(s): Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IS, Software Engineering
  • School Year(s): Senior or Recent Grad
  • GPA: Min 3.0
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with OIDC, SAML, CI/CD Pipelines, Cloud Platforms, APIs, and/or Scripting.
  • Self-starter – Ability to drive work
  • Leadership Skills: Agility, Building Trusting Relationships, Decision Making Skills, & Resilience
  • Basic organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions, manage time effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Availability: Must be available to work in St. Petersburg Florida from May 18, 2026– Aug 7, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the DevOps and Application Security teams to build secure, scalable integrations into modern application delivery pipelines.
  • Automate application onboarding, access provisioning, and authentication as part of the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Support the enforcement of least‑privilege access to improve security.
  • Improve the developer experience by reducing manual IAM processes.
  • Implement standardized IAM integration patterns that meet enterprise security, compliance, and risk requirements.
