Home Office Internship: Information Security GRC: Join our Information Security GRC team as an Information Security GRC Intern, where you'll gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real-world projects, and build foundational knowledge in security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk analysis.

Requirements

  • High School diploma GED, or equivalent education required.
  • Must be at least 18-years of age.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States.
  • Our various Home Office Internships are ideal for candidates pursuing a number of degrees including Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Information Technology, Pre-law, or similar degree.
  • Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at the time of application or must have graduated the semester immediately preceding the start of the internship.
  • Minimum of sophomore status.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at time of application or graduation preferred.
  • Curious and coachable, personable, and patient, action-oriented and accountable.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic about doing great work.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong tech-savvy competency; experience with Excel and Microsoft Teams specifically.
  • Strong organization skills, self-motivation, and learning agility to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bias for action and desire to make a meaningful difference alongside our current teammates.

Nice To Haves

  • Rising juniors, rising seniors, or graduate students preferred
  • Strong interest in the homebuilding, real estate, and/or construction industry as a preferred career field.
  • Added plus: students involved in extracurricular activities outside their curriculum responsibilities (i.e., student organizations, leadership roles, student athletes, NAHB student competition, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Participate in third-party risk assessments and vendor security reviews.
  • Assist in monitoring the security posture of external vendors and other third parties.
  • Help to maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Engage in security awareness campaigns and help develop training materials.
  • Assist with routine tasks under the direct supervision of a GRC mentor.
