Home Office Internship: Information Security GRC: Join our Information Security GRC team as an Information Security GRC Intern, where you'll gain hands-on experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance. This internship offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, contribute to real-world projects, and build foundational knowledge in security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk analysis.

Requirements

High School diploma GED, or equivalent education required.
Must be at least 18-years of age.
Must have authorization to work in the United States.
Our various Home Office Internships are ideal for candidates pursuing a number of degrees including Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Information Technology, Pre-law, or similar degree.
Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at the time of application or must have graduated the semester immediately preceding the start of the internship.
Minimum of sophomore status.
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 at time of application or graduation preferred.
Curious and coachable, personable, and patient, action-oriented and accountable.
Motivated and enthusiastic about doing great work.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
Strong tech-savvy competency; experience with Excel and Microsoft Teams specifically.
Strong organization skills, self-motivation, and learning agility to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Bias for action and desire to make a meaningful difference alongside our current teammates.

Nice To Haves

Rising juniors, rising seniors, or graduate students preferred
Strong interest in the homebuilding, real estate, and/or construction industry as a preferred career field.
Added plus: students involved in extracurricular activities outside their curriculum responsibilities (i.e., student organizations, leadership roles, student athletes, NAHB student competition, etc.).

Responsibilities

Participate in third-party risk assessments and vendor security reviews.
Assist in monitoring the security posture of external vendors and other third parties.
Help to maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines.
Engage in security awareness campaigns and help develop training materials.
Assist with routine tasks under the direct supervision of a GRC mentor.
