About The Position

Provide quality customer service and work toward the generation, promotion and maintenance of a quality work environment for the staff of Amarillo National Bank. Maintain a positive attitude and provide team support. Demonstrate ethical behaviors, and the ability to recognize and deal appropriately with confidential and sensitive information. Working knowledge of information security technologies, such as: IDS/IPS, malware prevention, database activity monitoring, secure password repository, multi-factor authentication, SIEM, SPAM prevention, web content filtering, change detection, and vulnerability scanning Assist in the handling of security incidents, recoveries, breaches, intrusions, and/or system abuses. Knowledge of LANs, WANs, SANs, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Windows server and desktop operating systems, web services such as Microsoft IIS and Apache, databases such as Microsoft SQL and Oracle, Firewalls/Switches/VPN devices, web application Firewalls. Ability to take information security best practices and implement them in a balanced and secure solution, that enables business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or graduate degree in computer science or CIS required and/or equivalent Information Technology (IT) and/or Information Security (IS) industry training and/or work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Security and banking preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as, but not limited to CISA, CISM, MSCE, CCNA, CCDA, Security+, Network+, or CISSP (or willingness to pursue).
  • Must demonstrate professionalism in managing multiple projects and resources effectively.
  • Awareness /working knowledge of security auditing tools such as NMAP, Nessus, NetCat, Nexpose, password crackers and packet capture tools is required.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills, both written and oral are necessary.
  • Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking and ability to troubleshoot are needed.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Information Security and banking preferred.
  • Relevant professional certifications such as, but not limited to CISA, CISM, MSCE, CCNA, CCDA, Security+, Network+, or CISSP (or willingness to pursue).
