About The Position

Analyzing and monitoring enterprise security systems to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and non-compliance issues, initiating appropriate mitigation measures Developing, implementing, and reviewing comprehensive information security policies, procedures, and plans in alignment with DoD specifications and industry best practices Conducting regular risk assessments and collaborating with IT and cybersecurity teams to remediate identified security gaps and strengthen overall defenses Leading incident response efforts by coordinating investigations, developing remediation strategies, and communicating findings to relevant stakeholders Preparing and presenting detailed security reports and technical documentation to senior management to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives #LI-TF1 FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

Requirements

  • 10 plus years experience in an information security analyst role
  • Three plus years of experience must be in all phases of IA and cybersecurity support of DoD component enterprise-wide IT systems
  • Five plus years of the required experience must include practical computer security experience in secure network and system design, analysis, procedure/test generation, test execution, and implementation of computer/network security mechanisms
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations research, mathematics, physics, computer science, financial management, or other technical field
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and maintain robust information security programs in compliance with DoD standards, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems
  • Proficient in performing comprehensive risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate security threats across enterprise networks
  • One or more of the following: Certified Information System Security Professional - Engineering (CISSP-ISSEP) Certified Information System Security Professional - Architect (CISSP-ISSAP) or similar (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
  • Possess an Active DoD TS Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with advanced security information and event management (SIEM) systems and threat intelligence platforms to enhance proactive monitoring and incident response
  • Proven ability to manage and lead cross-functional security projects, with strong communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience with cloud security frameworks and emerging cybersecurity technologies to support innovative and scalable security solutions
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills and proficiency in developing automated security controls and scripts to optimize system defenses
