About The Position

Works as a Information Security Analyst and is responsible for implementing
activities of technology projects relating to enterprise level cybersecurity
ensuring goals are accomplished for Jackson Hospital and Clinic. May be assigned
a trainer role within the scope of authority.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an associated Information Technology discipline is required.
• Valid State driver’s license
• Certified Ethical Hacker, CompTIA CySA, CASP+, CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, SSCP). Must be able to obtain a certification, through self-study, within 6-months of employment.
• Four (4) years’ experience with Information Technology security related solutions.
• Two (2) years of experience in related field may be substituted for each year of college.
• Extensive knowledge in assessing and mitigating security vulnerabilities.
• Extensive knowledge of security across various platforms (i.e. operating systems, computer systems, mobile devices, cloud networks, and wireless networks).
• Attention to Detail and Fundamental Forensics Skills (i.e. protect organizations' digital assets and prevent security breaches).
• Desire to Learn - Keep current with best practices and emerging industry trends and will always need to be learning and self-educating.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of hacking, exploitation and breaching.
• Excellent data, oral and written communication and people skills.

Nice To Haves

• Other IT Certifications are highly desired.
