About The Position

BB Americas Bank is seeking an Information Security Analyst I to join our Information Security team in Florida. This role is responsible for enforcing information security policies, monitoring critical systems, supporting audits, and assisting the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) in protecting the Bank’s information assets. This position offers the opportunity to work in a regulated financial environment, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure strong security controls, regulatory compliance, and operational resilience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; or One year of related experience in a similar role; or An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Experience with Entra ID, network security, and application security
  • Experience managing access to systems and cloud applications, including Azure, AWS and banking platforms
  • Working knowledge of information security concepts such as least privilege, segregation of duties, and dual control
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Copilot
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive bank and customer information with strict confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Desirable certifications: CompTIA Security+, ISC² Certified in Cybersecurity (CC), CompTIA Network+, CompTIA A+, or equivalent entry‑level information security certifications.
  • Exposure to SIEM or cloud security is a plus
  • Portuguese language skills are highly desirable
  • Programming skills are desirable

Responsibilities

  • Enforce Information Security policies, procedures, and standards across the organization
  • Update and maintain information security policies, procedures, and controls
  • Assist the CISO with departmental initiatives and daily operations
  • Grant, modify, and terminate user access to systems and applications
  • Monitor security events and system activity to detect suspicious behavior
  • Configure and maintain information security tools and applications
  • Support internal and external audit requests and inquiries
  • Monitor alerts from government agencies and specialized security sources
  • Track changes in legislation and regulatory guidance that may impact security operations
  • Design and maintain information security training and awareness programs
  • Support and collaborate with other Information Security team members
