About The Position

Cyber threats evolve every day, and protecting our customers’ information is one of the most important things we do. We are seeking an Information Security Analyst who is curious, analytical, and motivated to stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity threats. In this role, you will help monitor security systems, investigate alerts, and strengthen the tools and controls that protect the Bank’s systems and data. Working closely with our Technology and Risk teams, you will play an important role in supporting the Bank’s Information Security Program, helping ensure our security practices remain strong, effective, and aligned with regulatory expectations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, digging into details, and continuously learning in the fast-changing cybersecurity landscape. It also offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across security monitoring, risk management, and regulatory cybersecurity practices within a growing financial institution. Day in the Life - In this role, your day will often begin by reviewing security alerts generated by our monitoring tools and investigating anything that looks unusual. You’ll dig into potential threats, determine whether activity is legitimate, and work with our technology team to respond quickly if something requires action. You’ll also help identify and reduce vulnerabilities in our systems by supporting vulnerability management efforts and recommending improvements that strengthen our defenses. As new threats emerge, you’ll research and analyze them to understand potential risks to the Bank and help determine appropriate safeguards. Another important part of the role is helping ensure our security controls remain effective. You’ll assist with testing security controls, supporting internal and external audits, and gathering documentation for regulatory examinations. You’ll collaborate with team members across the organization to support security awareness initiatives, assist with vendor cybersecurity reviews, and help document procedures that keep our security practices consistent and well understood. Requirements

  • Ability to research and understand emerging data security threats and vulnerabilities
  • Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements
  • Understanding of cybersecurity risk management principles and security control frameworks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to communicate technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Desire for professional growth through pursuit of industry certification
  • Knowledge of regulatory guidance and cybersecurity frameworks including FFIEC, PCI, GLBA, and NIST
  • Experience supporting information security risk assessments, vulnerability management, or security monitoring
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as SIEM platforms, vulnerability scanning tools, endpoint protection, or email security solutions
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in information security risk assessment and auditing procedures with a focus on financial institutions
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
  • Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, CySA+, CCNA, or similar are a plus
