About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Information Security Analyst – Senior Auditor to support cybersecurity compliance and quality assurance efforts within the IRS environment.
This role focuses on ensuring assessment documentation is thorough, defensible, and aligned with federal oversight expectations. You will play a key role in strengthening documentation integrity and supporting audit readiness across enterprise systems.
This is ideal for professionals who understand that strong cybersecurity is built not only on controls — but on evidence, validation, and accountability.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of cybersecurity experience
• Background in audit, compliance, or risk management
• Familiarity with federal security frameworks
• Security+ CE certification (required)

Responsibilities

• Conduct peer reviews of assessment documentation
• Validate findings against NIST control requirements
• Ensure audit-readiness and documentation defensibility
• Support quality assurance and compliance processes
• Contribute to continuous improvement of risk management workflows
