About The Position

Information Desk Attendant - Part-Time Job type Part-time, on-site Schedule Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM Wednesday through Friday, with a 30-minute lunch 16-hours per week Filling in on other days as necessary when others are out on PTO or vacation Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday and Tuesday. Filling in on other days as necessary when others are out on PTO or vacation Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Ability to interact professionally Ability to be personable, outgoing, and engaging Ability to interact with others in healthy and positive ways Ability to adapt to different personalities and working dynamics Ability to deal with conflict, differing ideas and other dynamics in a professional way Ability to work in a safe manner without direct supervision Ability to ask for clarification or assistance when needed Ability to push persons of varying weights in a wheelchair (up to 300 pounds) General Qualifications: At least 18 years old Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and credit check Eligible to work in the United States A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education A job for which all ages over the age of 18 are encouraged to apply Open to applicants who do not have a college diploma

Responsibilities

  • Greeting patients and visitors as they enter the building
  • Assisting patients and visitors in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Helping patients and visitors find medical offices and restrooms
  • Responsible for assiting in transporting patients in wheelchairs to and from appointments within the building
  • Perform other duties as assigned
