About The Position

The Manager Research Information Associate’s primary role will be to support the fast-paced environment of financial research data aggregation, analysis, and project management. Working within a group that is both collaborative and independent, the role requires strong communication across a variety of time zones, adaptability, exceptional organizational skills, and critical thinking across a variety of tasks. Additionally, a successful candidate will have highly analytical instincts, strong attention to detail, and a deep understanding of creating and maintaining processes.

Requirements

  • BA/BS with 2+ years of experience in a corporate setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication skills across a variety of roles within the team and the organization
  • Ability to approach tasks with flexibility and an understanding of changing priorities
  • Ability to identify errors and incongruencies in a variety of datasets
  • Solutions-oriented with an ability to multi-task against competing deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail in a deadline-driven hybrid environment
  • Highly motivated, independent, and the ability to re-prioritize when necessary
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion with sensitive information
  • Strong knowledge of Excel, Outlook, Word, and Asana platforms
  • Working knowledge of SQL

Responsibilities

  • Oversee central coordination across Cambridge Associates’ private investment, hedge fund, and long-only research information
  • Collaborate with other team members to triage incoming information, assign appropriately, and complete tasks against a variety of deadlines
  • Manage large scale operational processes for Research Teams across all asset classes within the broader Manager Research group
  • Manage a variety of inboxes, including team-specific questions, Asana workplans, asset-class specific asks, and other one-off requests
  • Create and run queries and reports from multiple databases in response to information requests from across the firm, supporting management, research, client, and marketing needs
  • Facilitate large scale communications between the Manager Research Operations team and the individual Manager Research teams
  • Create, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of long-standing, regular, and one-off reporting needs
  • Interact regularly with a variety of different stakeholders, with the professionalism required for a range of different settings
  • Oversee and populate multiples databases regularly with information, requiring the ability to evaluate data and use judgment to draw appropriate conclusions and propose solutions
  • Contribute to and/or help lead Manager Research and Manager Research Operations with a variety of projects and initiatives
