About The Position

The Informatics Business Analyst I is pivotal in coordinating projects across multi-disciplinary teams, analyzing new requests, reviewing data, and researching innovative solutions within clinical and/or business units. This role serves as a liaison between clinical, finance, revenue, informatics and technical teams, ensuring the compatibility and functionality of clinical systems and the financial health of the organization. The analyst champions information system improvements and supports the evolution of workflows, with a strong emphasis on ensuring that the solutions meet clinical, financial, organizational, and academic needs. This is an Atlanta based position that will require a once/month onsite staff meeting and roughly 30% of time with onsite visits for either project based work or supporting Epic go-lives.

Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Requires a Bachelors and/or Associates Degree in informatics, IT (Information Technology), business, healthcare (e.g. nursing, respiratory) or a related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: With a Bachelors Degree: Experience in data analysis, project coordination, and collaboration with clinical, financial, and technical teams is preferred. Proficiency in cross-functional application assessment and workflow design is essential with the ability to successfully tie clinical workflows to financial impact.
With an Associates Degree: At least 2 years of the above experience is required.
JUDGEMENT: The applicant should be able to work independently, prioritize tasks, and effectively facilitate multiple clinical groups. They should also have the skill to assess and present new innovative ideas, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
