About The Position

Become a part of our caring community and help us put health first The Informaticist 2 coordinates with other analytics, IT and business areas across the organization to ensure work is completed with insights from knowledge SMEs. The Informaticist 2 work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action. The Informaticist 2 leverages advanced expertise in data analytics, modeling, optimization, and analytical tools to deliver disciplined, data driven insights that predict behavior and optimize programs to support organizational growth. The Informaticist 2 supports and advances CMS Star measures through end to end ownership of key data assets, close coordination with Clinical partners, and execution of targeted interventions. Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing Stars related datasets, ensuring data quality, and enabling accurate measure performance tracking. In collaboration with Clinical teams, this role aligns operational workflows, informs measure strategy, and ensures cohesive implementation of outreach programs. Additional duties include developing and maintaining reporting solutions, monitoring outreach effectiveness, and generating insights that drive improved Stars performance across the organization. The Informaticist 2 makes decisions regarding their own work methods, including in ambiguous situations, with minimal direction and guidance as needed, while adhering to established guidelines and procedures. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 2 or more years of data analysis experience
• Technical proficiency in coding and data visualization tools preferably with SAS, Python, PowerBI or similar tools
• Ability to use appropriate problem solving, research and analysis tools
• Strong attention to detail
• Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Nice To Haves

• Advanced Degree
• Experience with data mining, predictive modeling techniques and using data to drive business outcomes and decisions
• Experience in PQA/NCQA measure analytics
• Knowledge of or experience in CMS Stars
