About The Position

Cedar Park Group is seeking experienced, mission-driven Inflight Paramedics to support the JPATS (Justice Prisoner and Alien Transportation System) program out of Oklahoma City . This role supports secure air transport operations and requires strong clinical skills, sound judgment under pressure, and the ability to work within a highly regulated federal environment. You will deliver in-flight and ground-based medical care, respond to emergencies, and ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals in custody during transport operations.

Requirements

  • Current Paramedic certification (state and/or National Registry, as applicable).
  • At least three (3) calendar years of verifiable experience working as a certified Paramedic , with minimum qualifications at the paramedic level or higher.
  • Be a citizen of the United States of America .
  • Be at least 21 years of age .
  • High school graduate (or equivalent).
  • Able to read, write, and speak English fluently .
  • Possess a valid state driver’s license from state of residence.
  • Have a safe driving record for the past five (5) years .
  • Must pass all suitability and background investigation requirements as determined by the U.S. Marshals Service (USMS).
  • Must pass a background check and be able to pass a drug test .
  • Ability to meet and deal tactfully with people , including individuals in custody, law enforcement personnel, and flight crews.
  • Ability to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures.
  • Demonstrated poise, self-confidence, and sound decision-making in high-pressure or rapidly changing situations.
  • Ability to react quickly under stressful conditions , including medical and security emergencies.
  • Ability to prepare clear, concise, and accurate computer-generated reports .
  • Highly flexible and able to adapt to changing missions, schedules, and conditions.
  • Ability to accept and respond to instruction and direction from supervisory and security staff.
  • Physically able to perform the full range of paramedic duties without limitation, as described in the Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Able to maintain the rigors of performing Paramedic duties for extended periods, including long flights, frequent movement, and potential lifting or repositioning of patients.

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced life support (ALS) and emergency medical care during inflight and ground transport operations.
  • Assess, stabilize, monitor, and document patients in accordance with paramedic protocols and JPATS/USMS guidelines.
  • Prepare for each mission by reviewing medical needs, equipment, and supplies to ensure readiness.
  • Safely operate within secure transport environments, following all security, safety, and custody procedures .
  • Communicate effectively with flight crews, security personnel, and medical staff to coordinate care and respond to changing conditions.
  • Document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in clear, concise, computer-generated reports .
  • Maintain medical equipment and ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with infection control practices.
  • Adapt to changing schedules, routes, and mission requirements, sometimes with short notice.
  • Participate in required training, drills, and ongoing competency assessments.
