Work with a dedicated and caring organization and start doing your life's best work. Infectious Disease/Refugee Health Nurse Pay rate: $55.00-$60.00 per hour 1099 or $50.00-$55.00 per hour W2. Location: 445 Winn Way Decatur, GA 30031. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:15am-5:00pm; Thursday 10:15am-7:00pm. Duration of the assignment: Until April 30, 2026. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university AND a current Georgia licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

Identifies high risk populations and tailor interventions based on the needs of the population and the resources available.
Provides treatments, administers medications/vaccines and provides preventative and maintenance care to patient/families consistent with care plan and/or physician treatment plan.
Screens and refers clients to other community service providers.
Participates in drills and exercised on pandemic influenza, mass sheltering, and mass dispensing.
Participates in planning, organizing and evaluation of program areas to ensure the goals and objectives of the program are met.
Provides clinical services to target population.
Applies principles of population health and practice.
Provides health care, first aid, immunizations and assistance in convalescence and rehabilitation.
Conducts comprehensive assessments of clients' health care needs.
Conducts community needs assessment.
Develops comprehensive plans of care for individuals, families, and populations.
Modifies client treatment plans as indicated by clients' responses and conditions.
Provides health education instruction and/or classes to individuals and families for the promotion and maintenance of health.
Coordinates program services with other service providers and community organizations to promote optimal implementation.
Develops and sustains community partnerships.
