About The Position
Manages the promotion and application of infection control measures to prevent and/or control infections among patients and employees. Facilitates compliance with requirements of The Joint Commission (TJC), Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the Department of Public Health. Works in collaboration with the Patient Services Division.
Requirements
- Degree in Nursing
- Infection control/epidemiology educational course
- Minimum two (2) years of experience working with infection control methods with computer background preferred
- Certification from Board of Infection Control preferred
- Current license to practice in Guam
