About The Position
Responsible for coordinating and compliance regarding infection control practices and surveillance activities and infection control policy and procedures. Position does not provide direct patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current AR licensure OR graduate of an accredited Medical Technology Program with a Bachelor of Science.
- Three years’ experience in clinical practice.
- Understanding of the principles of asepsis, epidemiology, microbiology, the development of policy and procedures, patient care practices, group dynamics, and knowledge of adult education principles necessary.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a variety of clinical specialties desired.
- Basic understanding of regulatory processes and guidelines of ASHD, CDC, OSHA and other applicable regulatory agencies desirable.
