Under the direction of the Early Learning Director, the Infant/Toddler Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing a developmentally appropriate program for infants and toddlers. The teacher provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports each child’s physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development. Major emphasis is placed on program excellence, relationship building with families, and providing quality care of the highest standard. The Infant/Toddler Teacher ensures that classroom activities, schedules, and routines follow established program plans and comply with all Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) regulations and YMCA policies.
