About The Position

Concordia at Cabot, the birthplace and headquarters of Concordia Lutheran Ministries, has one of the broadest networks of senior- and healthcare-related services in the country, all in one location: retirement living, short-term rehabilitation, personal care, long-term nursing care, hospice care, outpatient physical therapy, adult day services, even child care. We are seeking an experienced, patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic Infant / Toddler Caregiver to join our Child Care team on a part-time basis. This position features a competitive pay that will commensurate with experience. In addition, eligible employees who waive the health insurance benefit can earn an additional $1.50/hour. This is a highly rewarding opportunity for individuals who love working with children and are looking for a supportive, consistent schedule with no weekends or holidays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Early Childhood OR 2,500+ hrs child care experience
  • Experience with infants and/or toddlers in a daycare setting
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Patient, organized, and multitasking ability
  • Friendly, reliable, and child-focused

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and care for infants/toddlers
  • Assist with meals, activities, and diapering/toileting
  • Plan and lead daily lessons and play
  • Communicate with parents at drop-off/pick-up
  • Keep classroom clean and follow safety guidelines
  • Coordinate with staff and follow DPW regulations
