About The Position
The Learning Experience in Elk Grove is hiring a caring and qualified Infant Teacher to support our youngest learners. This role is ideal for an educator who is nurturing, patient, and passionate about helping infants develop social, emotional, and motor skills in a safe and loving environment.
Requirements
- Must meet California licensing requirements
- At minimum must hold twelve ECE units
- CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain
- Experience working with infants in a licensed childcare setting
- Patient, dependable, and attentive to health and safety
- Passionate about early childhood development and nurturing care
Responsibilities
- Create a warm, safe, and engaging environment for infants
- Support social, emotional, sensory, and motor development through play based learning
- Follow daily classroom routines including feeding, diapering, naps, and transitions
- Observe and document developmental milestones
- Communicate consistently with families to build strong relationships
- Implement The Learning Experience award winning L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Maintain a clean, organized, and nurturing classroom
