As an Industry Risk Specialist, you will be responsible for risk input on a first line of responsibility and own assigned vendor programs including completing annual- and interim reviews. You will be a program risk expert supporting the GBU Account Manager, a senior advisor towards credit decision making committees, countries and relevant GBU’s and will act as a sparring partner to the business. Day to day: Responsible for meeting the quality standards Proactively provide vision regarding GBU(s) and assigned (global) vendor programs leveraging market and industry expertise. Support your GBU assignment in building profitable portfolios within DLL’s and the GBU Risk Appetite Statement (RAS). Promote an Integrated Risk Management culture in the GBU, including Customer Due Diligence, Treat your Customers Fairly (TCF), portfolio management, emerging client risks, climate risk, etc. Develop and monitor Risk Acceptance Criteria as appropriate/ needed for the relevant vendor programs, signal potential deviations, and propose necessary actions. Monitor and report on portfolio and risk development for assigned (global) vendor programs as well as relevant external market developments. Initiate corrective actions as warranted and maintain compliance with associated risk metrics. Participate in deal teams for non-standard, complex or high risk applications on end-users together with Regional Credit specialists and provide industry and asset knowledge. Provide support for GBU(s) in the development of new products, vendor programs (including risk elements of program agreements) and transactional structures as needed or requested by the GBU CRO. Provide industry expertise related guidance to countries to support roll-out or execution of vendor programs. Organize training & knowledge sharing sessions for the countries and/or other stakeholders via virtual tools (e.g. webinars etc) as needed. Develop, implement, monitor and maintain (global) partner/vendor program guidelines in alignment with existing global risk policies. Pro-actively propose and implement applicable improvement plans to the GBU organization. Timely completion and quality of vendor reviews. Stakeholder quality survey results. Timeliness and quality of support for relevant parties including countries. Quality of oversight of vendor programs including RAC’s, risk costs and portfolio performance. Compliancy with applicable procedures, policies, authorization levels and DLL framework and protocols.
