About The Position

As part of our continuous expansion, we are seeking an experienced construction industry product or offering manager to join our dynamic team. The Construction Industry Product Manager will be responsible for development and management of the entire lifecycle of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)-based service offering, including IP assets, service features and capabilities, and complementary partner solution add-ons customized for the Construction market. The primary role is to oversee all aspects of the offering, including: Market research: Gathering insights from internal and external sources to help deliver the offering to the market Business model: Determining the business model and client business value with the practice director Solution requirements: Defining the service requirements and working across disciplines to build the overall solution that is attractive to a target market Operational and business metrics: Being accountable for key metrics such as customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction Offering portfolio: Maintaining the solutions/services roadmap Development Roadmap: Work with the consultant team to define, drive, and deliver the construction solutions roadmap. Go-to-market: Define routes to market, delivery capability, resource capacity, and supporting ecosystems. Engage with marketing on the marketing plan, channels, and content. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery and adoption of these solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industry trends, unique customer challenges, and competitive landscapes to drive growth and innovation within the construction vertical.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, marketing, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in offering management, services and/or product management, marketing, or business development, preferably within a vertical industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully defining, managing and launching construction-specific solutions with consultant and development teams.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction business application space (specifically ERP, CRM, and HRMS are a plus)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market data into actionable insights and plans.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of technology solutions and their application within specific industries.
  • Strong planning and execution skills with attention to detail.
  • Organization skills and management of social media content calendars.
  • Ability to work in a matrixed environment and build trusted relationships across a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Exceptional team player with proven ability to lead through influence.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with practice directors and product marketing managers to develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for vertical-specific solutions in collaboration with the practice director and marketing team.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive dynamics.
  • Define and prioritize services features and roadmaps based on market needs and business goals.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities for new offerings within the construction vertical, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of construction vertical-specific offerings, from ideation to launch and post-launch performance.
  • Collaborate with implementation and delivery teams and publishers to ensure solutions meet market requirements and are available in market on time.
  • Engage with the consultant and development team members to deliver construction industry-changing capabilities to market.
  • Manage service features, ensuring that capabilities and delivery efforts are aligned with a practice director’s strategic priorities and customer needs.
  • Continuously assess and improve services performance through customer feedback, market analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive competitive analyses to identify differentiators and inform positioning strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop compelling value propositions, messaging, and positioning for vertical solutions.
  • Create and deliver training materials, sales tools, and work with marketing to develop collateral to support the sales team.
  • Work with the marketing team to design and execute targeted campaigns, including webinars, whitepapers, and case studies.
  • Own the GTM execution for Net at Work’s construction portfolio. Work with sales and marketing teams to develop lead generation and nurturing strategies specific to the vertical. Track and manage pipeline, velocity, and revenue for the construction offerings.
  • Participate in the development of pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
  • Engage/survey key customers, industry analysts and partners to gather feedback and validate service offerings.
  • Develop and manage customer advisory boards to ensure continuous feedback and engagement.
  • Provide support at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings as requested by the Practice Director.
  • Act as a vertical industry subject matter expert for the vertical, providing insights and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics related to vertical offerings, including sales performance, market penetration, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to practice directors and executive management and leadership on market trends, sales performance, and strategic vertical initiatives.
  • Adjust vertical services strategies based on data-driven insights and feedback.
  • Develop and manage dashboards and reporting tools to monitor the health and performance of vertical solutions and market traction.
