Reporting to the EVP of Corporate Development, the Industry Market Manager leads the go‑to‑market (GTM) strategy for an assigned industry segment. This role serves as the industry subject‑matter expert, shaping positioning and strategic initiatives to drive growth and position the company as a trusted partner. The role works cross‑functionally with sales, marketing, product management, and business development to accelerate opportunity development and customer success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of outside sales experience
  • Proven success in sales, business development, or sales operations
  • Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office
  • Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license
  • Up to 50% travel required, including air travel

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive industry GTM strategy.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive dynamics, customer needs, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities.
  • Create industry‑specific messaging, positioning, and value propositions.
  • Represent the company at industry events to build thought leadership and brand presence.
  • Identify and prioritize high‑value accounts and strategic opportunities.
  • Partner with sales leadership to accelerate pipeline conversion, improve velocity and win rates, and ensure accurate forecasting and resource planning for strategic deals.
  • Collaborate with field sales and partners to design engagement models tailored to industry customers.
  • Develop tools, training, and enablement resources to support strategic account planning and key customer engagements.
  • Align closely with product specialists and category managers to ensure offerings meet industry requirements.
  • Partner with marketing to develop targeted campaigns, content, and events that resonate with industry stakeholders.
