Are You the Utilities Leader Others Turn To? Do you thrive when coaching technicians, solving tough utilities problems, and keeping a modern production facility running? In this role, you’ll lead by example—balancing people leadership, scheduling, and hands-on technical work to protect safety, quality, and uptime. What You'll Tackle Champion personal safety, food safety, and quality procedures every day. Supervise utilities technicians: distribute work, check status often, and manage schedules. Act as a working lead—jumping in on tools and tasks when needed. Deliver on both planned PMs and unplanned corrective work safely and efficiently. Direct multiple people across multiple tasks quickly and effectively. Exhibit servant leadership across maintenance and production teams. Be the facility’s technical authority for utilities troubleshooting and guidance. Plan and prioritize maintenance activities with the resources available. Provide strong customer service to production, quality, and other internal partners. Coach employees toward department and organizational targets. Manage concurrent priorities within time, staffing, and equipment limitations. When and How You’ll Work Weekend or overtime work may be required depending on operational needs. Other duties as assigned. What You Bring Required Background Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) capabilities and MS Outlook proficiency; clear written and verbal communication. Preferred Background 7+ years in industrial maintenance with proven leadership of utilities technicians in a fully automated production plant. Electro-Mechanical or Industrial Electronics & Maintenance technical degree. HVAC certification. Experience with SQF, HACCP, and GMP systems. Experience in food manufacturing. Strengths & Tools Proficiencies: Facilities maintenance, preventive maintenance and inspection, HVAC maintenance, HVAC troubleshooting. Technologies: HVAC systems and industrial controls.
