The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with hand tools, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Requirements

  • 2 years of industrial technician experience
  • A valid driver's license
  • HS Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and departments to support overall equipment reliability and workplace safety.
  • Inspect, maintain, and repair a variety of hand tools (manual and power tools) to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with hand tools, identifying root causes of malfunctions or failures.
  • Calibrate hand tools according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Document all maintenance, repairs, and calibrations performed, maintaining accurate records in compliance with company policies.
  • Communicate with manager regarding service priorities and status.
  • Assist with loading and unloading of products in the warehouse, on trailers or vehicles.
  • Deploy to manage onsite tool projects as needed. Duration of duty varies by project.
  • Provide technical support and training to staff on the proper use and care of hand tools
  • Operate equipment such as a forklift, parts picker, or motor vehicle.
