Job PurposeThe Industrial Technician is responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of a wide range of hand tools used in our industrial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with hand tools, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Requirements
- 2 years of industrial technician experience
- A valid driver's license
- HS Diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory requirements during all maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to support overall equipment reliability and workplace safety.
- Inspect, maintain, and repair a variety of hand tools (manual and power tools) to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with hand tools, identifying root causes of malfunctions or failures.
- Calibrate hand tools according to manufacturer specifications and industry standards to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Document all maintenance, repairs, and calibrations performed, maintaining accurate records in compliance with company policies.
- Communicate with manager regarding service priorities and status.
- Assist with loading and unloading of products in the warehouse, on trailers or vehicles.
- Deploy to manage onsite tool projects as needed. Duration of duty varies by project.
- Provide technical support and training to staff on the proper use and care of hand tools
- Operate equipment such as a forklift, parts picker, or motor vehicle.
