Location: Bedford Park, IL Workplace type: On Site The Ingredion USCAN Industrial Technical Team is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic college student to join the organization for an internship during summer 2026. In this role, you will focus on providing technical support to existing customers and developing new product solutions for industrial market applications. This role will collaborate with various internal resources to design experiments, create technical data and develop value added solutions that highlight our industrial innovation product portfolio and align with consumer trends.

Requirements

  • Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Paper Science or Engineering or a related field
  • Ability to work 40hrs per week during the summer internship term
  • Demonstrated experience with wet chemistry laboratory
  • Knowledge of common paper and packaging manufacturing processes, process chemicals and development, polymer chemistry preferred
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills (technical reports for distribution, presentations, data analysis etc.)
  • Proven proficiency using MS Office Programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, ect.)
  • Reliable transportation required to get to and from facility each work day
  • Currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
  • Be a currently enrolled student in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Program.
  • If currently enrolled in an undergrad status, must have completed at least two years of coursework with status as a sophomore, junior or non-graduating senior.
