About The Position
Sherwood Bedding is seeking an experienced Industrial Sewing Machine Technician to support our mattress manufacturing operations in Arizona. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing high-speed industrial sewing machines used in production to ensure minimal downtime and smooth operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with industrial sewing equipment in a manufacturing environment and strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience repairing industrial sewing machines
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in mattress, upholstery, or textile manufacturing preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial sewing machines and related equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment downtime
- Adjust and calibrate machines to ensure stitch quality and efficiency
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production issues
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to improve machine performance
