The Industrial Sales Engineer is a supportive role focused on growing design-in revenue within the industrial market in a specific region. This role involves direct and indirect collaboration with Territory Development Representatives and Regional Sales Managers. The incumbent must be well-organized, customer-focused, and technically proficient, providing technical advice, knowledge, and support throughout the design cycle to secure a position on the customer’s approved vendor list. Success is measured by design confirmations and revenue. The Industrial Sales Engineer is expected to work collaboratively with various internal departments including management, engineering, sales, product management, and production to offer creative solutions and product expertise to PEI’s customers. The position requires building influential relationships both internally and externally with customers, manufacturers, and manufacturer’s representatives. Although the position reports out of the Philadelphia, PA corporate headquarters, it is a fully remote role covering the Eastern region of North America.
