What to Expect: As an Industrial Repair Technician, you will perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and installation work on electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical production equipment. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures. Overtime opportunities may be available on a voluntary basis based on business needs and with leader prior authorization. 1st shift: Monday – Friday, 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. 2nd shift: Monday – Friday , 3p.m. – 11 p.m. Your Role Day to Day: As an Industrial Repair Technician, responsible for advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, repair, and maintenance of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and CNC‑based production equipment and controls (mills, lathes, grinders, presses and more), using strong knowledge of machinery operation, schematics, and OEM documentation. Daily tasks include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnosing motor and electrical failures, testing equipment after repairs, and ensuring strict adherence to safety procedures such as lockout/tagout and critical safety device protocols. Summary Pay Range: $26.25 - $33.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Requirements

2 years of minimum cumulative experience performing industrial maintenance, corrective, preventive, and testing in a manufacturing facility or like industrial setting
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and equipment diagrams
Must have knowledge of Critical Safety Devices and functionality
Experience utilizing precision tools
All eligible candidates MUST pass the following pre-employment screenings before they can be hired to Caterpillar: Background Screening Drug Screening Post-Offer Medical Questionnaire (clearance from Corporate Medical)

Nice To Haves

Prior experience within a Caterpillar facility
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot, repair, and installation of manufacturing machine components
Fundamental understating of CNC ladder logic
Advanced understanding of root cause analysis and FMEA
