The ideal candidate has solid, hands-on radio communications experience and is motivated to focus their work in this area, while also contributing to related control, cabling, and electrical systems in an industrial environment. The South Dakota Science and Technology Authority (SDSTA) owns and operates the Sanford Underground Research Facility (SURF). The Industrial Radio and Control Technician is responsible for developing, installing, and managing aspects of surface and underground radio communication, programmable logic controllers, fiber optic and copper cabling.
