About The Position

Make Production Lines Run Better, Faster, Smarter Join us to commission, service, and start up Consumer-industry packaging machines, while partnering with our German headquarters on upgrades and rebuilds to current equipment. Your Impact Edit Rockwell ControlLogix code to stabilize and optimize performance. Tune and test software parameters; verify machine behavior against requirements. Diagnose complex production issues and map findings back to PLC/HMI logic. Apply SDLC documentation practices for consistent, auditable change management. Author test protocols and Automation change controls (validation documentation). Record troubleshooting steps and archive final software revisions. Drive sustainable fixes using Lean Six Sigma tools: RCA, DMAIC, GEMBA, 5S, and the 5 Whys. Communicate clearly with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues to explain code, states, and processes.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years with high-speed machinery or other automated systems.
  • Expert AB platform knowledge (RSLogix 5000); Jetter controls a plus.
  • PLC programming and motion commissioning for new equipment; remote and field support experience.
  • Ability to program from process definition or from scratch.
  • Proficiency with electrical control diagrams and P&ID schematics.
  • Knowledge across PLC/AC Drives/HMI/Servo/Motion Control (required).

Nice To Haves

  • VMware and HMI experience are advantageous.
  • SCADA: FactoryTalk View SE, WonderWare, or Ignition preferred.
  • SAP experience ideal.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Programming, or related field preferred.
