About The Position

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Industrial Painters for projects located in the West Fargo, ND area . This is a second shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30-32/hour based on experience and skill level. Requirements

• Prior industrial or heavy-equipment painting experience
• Ability to meet thickness and quality specifications
• All PPE & steel-toe boots
• Respirator fit test required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with electrostatic paint systems preferred

Responsibilities

• Apply primer and topcoat using electrostatic spray equipment
• Perform booth painting in a clean, climate-controlled facility
• Paint in multiple positions and use a creeper when necessary
• Apply coatings within specified thickness requirements
• Use a mil gauge to verify paint thickness
• Inspect prep work to ensure it meets specifications prior to painting
• Perform touch-ups and rework as required
• Maintain and inspect painting equipment
• Operate an overhead crane when needed
• Handle, store, and properly dispose of hazardous materials
• Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail
