About The Position

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking an Industrial Painter to join our Manufacturing Team. The Industrial Painter is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing metal components in a light industrial fabrication environment. This role involves mixing and matching paints to required specifications, operating spray guns and spray foam equipment, and applying coatings with precision to ensure durability and a high‑quality finish. The Industrial Painter will follow safety and environmental guidelines, maintain equipment, and work closely with production teams to meet quality standards and project timelines. Requirements

  • This Position requires a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED or related experience in Industrial/Automotive Painting as determined by the plant manager.
  • Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required
  • Good verbal communication skills with employees
  • Positive attitude
  • Open minded with a vision for continuous improvement
  • Ability to take on more responsibility as the business grows.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to step over and work on top of fixtures that are 28 inches off the floor when necessary
  • Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold and where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels

  • RCRA, HAZWOPER certifications a plus
  • Auto body painting experience a plus
  • Auto Body painting experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prepare paint surfaces
  • Mix paint
  • Operate and maintain industrial paint booths
  • Operate and maintain spray guns and other equipment
  • Apply spray foam insulation
  • Maintain spray foam equipment
  • Use respirator daily during work activities
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
