About The Position

Job description Industrial Painter job summary: Painter sprays surfaces of manufactured parts and trailers with protective material such as primer and paint by performing the following duties. INDUSTRIAL PAINTER ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Follows necessary MGS procedures and work instructions. Reads paperwork or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or products to be washed or painted. Prepares product for paint as needed. Selects and mixes coating liquid to produce required color. Operates a paint gun or other spray application equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metals or products. Inspects finished product to ensure required specifications. Follows safety guidelines and uses all required personal protective equipment. Completes all necessary paperwork and daily usage reports. Assists with routine cleaning and maintenance in Paint department areas. The painter must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. SCHEDULE: Monday-Thursday, 6:00pm-4:30am. Candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
