Wherever there is a need for motive power, EnerSys offers the perfect energy solution.  Job PurposeIs used in any of the following positions, shipping, painter, pulls line, line load and unload and final inspection and cleaning of trays.    Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES include the following:  Other duties may be assigned.   Employee must be able to satisfactorily perform all duties and responsibilities referenced in the work instructions for this position.   Inspect part quality from previous operation and moves unpainted and painted trays to the next operation.   Perform final cleaning and inspection prior to shipping.   May be called on to load or unload line, paint and ship trays.

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED; or one to three months related experience and/ or training); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
  • The employee is occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; to or hear and taste to smell.
  • The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 100 pounds.
  • See supervisor on any safety concerns and always be aware of forklift traffic.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
