About The Position
We are seeking reliable and experienced Industrial Packers to join a growing manufacturing and steel processing operation in the McKees Rocks area. This position involves packaging finished steel products, preparing materials for shipment, and supporting production operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Requirements
- Previous industrial or manufacturing experience required
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to read and use a measuring tape accurately
- Ability to pass a basic math test
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to lift, move, and handle heavy materials as needed
- Reliable attendance and ability to work full shift hours
Responsibilities
- Package and prepare steel products according to company specifications
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials and finished products
- Read and accurately use measuring tape to verify product dimensions
- Perform basic math calculations related to measurements and quantities
- Inspect materials for quality before packaging and shipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
