About The Position

The Industrial Mechanical Craftsman is responsible for installation, fabrication, and c ommissioning of mechanical systems and structures in water/wastewater treatment plant construction. This role combines the skills of a boilermaker, millwright, and mechanical installer to support the safe and efficient construction of complex process facilities.

Requirements

Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in industrial construction.
Proficient in reading blueprints.
P and I DS in layout drawings.
Experience with rotating equipment and alignment.
Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment process is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install, set, align, and commission pumps, motors, gear boxes, blowers, mixers and other process equipment.
Install & assist with equipment startup and operational testing.
Process piping systems including carbon steel, stainless steel, Dr Light, PVC HDPE and more.
I nstall valves , supports , penetrations, and special fittings.
Follow all safety rules and regulations.
Perform work in accordance with project specs, drawings, and quality standards.
Work closely with the superintendent, foreman, engineers and inspectors. Document work activities, measurements and inspections as required.
