About The Position

Idaho Forest Group is currently seeking a Mechanic Oiler to join our Grangeville team. The primary purpose of this position is the service, lubrication and maintenance of all rolling stock. Essential Functions: Comprehend and perform all duties in accordance with rules, regulations and JSAs Lubrication, scheduling, repairing and oil services on all rolling stock Perform hydraulic, air and brake systems repairs, service drive train and fuel systems, some electrical troubleshooting and repairing using schematics if needed Able to operate all rolling stock on site Use parts and service manuals to identify and order parts if needed Follow daily schedules and update equipment service in maintenance software. Consistently keep a production level work pace Other duties as needed Specific job duties and shifts may vary per mill and based on machinery. Qualifications: Ability to read schematics Mechanical skills Welding experience preferred Must possess mechanics tools High School Diploma or GED (or willingness to quickly obtain one as a condition of employment) Valid Driver's License is highly preferred As a condition of employment, Idaho Forest Group requires employees to complete a variety of pre-employment screening processes which may include, but are not limited to: criminal background check, drug and substance test, reference check, prior work verification, driving history (MVR), education verification, aptitude/skills testing, and credit checks.
