About The Position

Aluminum Precision Products (APP) is an international leader in manufacturing aluminum forgings, offering an opportunity to be part of a globally recognized organization known for quality. APP is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to assist in the immediate repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the company’s machinery, plumbing, electrical wiring, and facilities.

Requirements

• Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs.
• 1 -3 years’ experience repairing and/or maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical industrial equipment or related industrial machinery.
• Must be able to conceptualize, fabricate, and develop necessary equipment, and intricate systems.
• Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
• In compliance with ITAR regulations, must be a US Citizen or US Person.
• English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension)
• Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.
• Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills/Mathematics.
• Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers

Responsibilities

• Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
• Troubleshoot electrical, industrial hydraulic, and pneumatic problems on industrial equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance as specified under supervision.
• Examine, adjust, repair, and maintain machines/equipment.
• Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
