About The Position

Shape the maintenance plan that keeps production moving Step into a role where your planning and scheduling expertise ensures our operations run safely, efficiently, and on time. You’ll turn non-emergency work requests into clear, executable job plans, align priorities with Production each week, and build a technician schedule that fully utilizes available labor hours. A week in the life Early in the week, you’ll walk job sites to validate scope and requirements. You’ll gather drawings, schematics, specs, spare parts lists, OEM manuals, and details from the Knowledgebase system to craft accurate plans. You’ll verify parts availability, secure any special tools or auxiliary equipment, and keep a disciplined eye on backlog health so the Ready Backlog stays at or above 80%. Midweek, you’ll lead planning and scheduling meetings with Production to confirm priorities, communicate status, and adjust proactive maintenance when needed. By week’s end, you’ll publish a Weekly Technician Schedule that blends priority planned jobs with preventive maintenance to utilize 100% of available technician labor hours. Throughout, you’ll review outcomes, leverage maintenance metrics, and continuously improve job plans.
