Shape the night shift that keeps our lines running At ConMet’s Canton, NC facility, you’ll be the go-to expert when molding presses and assembly equipment need attention. Picture this: a molding machine throws an alarm at 2:17 a.m.—you’re already on the move, isolating the issue, reading the prints, and getting production back online. Role snapshot : Perform maintenance and repairs on injection molding and assembly equipment, tackle both reactive and preventive work, and help drive continuous improvement across the plant. What you’ll take on Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of injection molding and assembly mechanical systems Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems Execute scheduled preventive maintenance to improve reliability and uptime Support continuous improvement projects and participate in root cause analysis Observe and comply with all company rules and regulations, including the NFPA 70E Arc Flash PPE and procedures Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions
