The right maintenance tech will have a strong understanding of preventative maintenance on manufacturing machines (CNC machines, turret punch, brake press, welding equipment, electrical, and facilities). Requirements

Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Experience with Pneumatics, PLC, Electronics
Ability to take initiative and work independently as well as contribute to the overall success of the team
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, and easily adapt to change
Working knowledge of Preventative Maintenance Programs
10+ years of recent experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to network and/or research issues to quickly diagnose repair issues

Responsibilities

Performs all PM’s based on a scheduled event for all Lake Air plants, and tracks results.
Maintain facilities and grounds as well as manage associated contract services and repairs.
Provide technical support by training and troubleshooting to all manufacturing employees.
Interpret operational manuals, manufacturer’s specifications, blueprints, and schematics for manufacturing and ancillary equipment.
Works together with the Production departments for Continuous Improvement programs.
Remains current on all OSHA, Arc Flash, and LO/TO procedures and updates as required
Trains on proper equipment maintenance and repair.
Assist workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment.
Make recommendations on the use of machinery and equipment.
Works with outside vendors in painting and performing structural repairs to buildings, equipment, masonry, woodwork, and furnishings of buildings.
Inspect completed work for conformance to blueprints, specifications, and standards.
