About The Position

Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Equipment Technician to perform a variety of maintenance tasks in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment. The role involves using blueprints, schematics, small/power tools, and electronic test equipment to diagnose and resolve operating problems across various systems, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment. Key responsibilities include performing basic preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment, troubleshooting single phase/240v systems, and adhering to all safety rules and practices. The technician is also expected to contribute to safety initiatives and integrate sustainability into daily practices and long-term strategy, fostering a results-driven culture aligned with value creation.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write and speak in English
  • A high level of understanding and experience diagnosing and correcting issues
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to provide clear, explicit verbal directions and create a positive learning environment

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
  • 2+ years of relevant and applicable experience in a maintenance position in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment preferred
  • Electrician certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform basic preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment such as motors, conveyers, mechanical components or electrical wiring and electrical components for production equipment
  • Perform basic troubleshooting/single phase/240v
  • Follow all safety rules and practices
  • May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Be aware of and observe all safety practices, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety boots, hearing protection, etc., as required
  • Know and follow all safety rules and procedures
  • Participate in safety committees and initiatives as assigned
